How we collect, use, and protect your information

Privacy Statement

Welcome to our website. This Privacy Statement describes the types of information that Pragathi Rail ("Pragathi Rail," "we," or "us") collects from and about our customers and their corporate representatives ("Customers") on our website, www.pragathirail.com (the "Site"). Our Site and services are aimed at companies and their representatives and not at individual consumers or households.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Statement sets forth our policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of business information that we collect when engaging with prospective and existing Customers and their representatives ("Customer Representatives"), and from Customers' employees or others authorized to use Pragathi Rail products and services ("Authorized Users"). By using the Site or engaging us to provide our services, you agree to the data collection, use, disclosure, and storage practices described in this Privacy Statement.

Pragathi Rail seeks to transform railway engineering through artificial intelligence, automation, and digital workflows, helping modernise railway operations through intelligent solutions.

Pragathi Rail collects identifiable information from and about Customer Representatives and employees or others authorized to use a Customer-issued device ("Customer Data"). When Pragathi Rail collects and uses Customer Data on behalf of its Customers to provide our services, Pragathi Rail generally acts as a processor or service provider rather than a controller of that Customer Data.

Privacy Rights

If you are a Customer Representative or Authorized User and would like to exercise your privacy rights or opt out of Pragathi Rail processing your information on behalf of a Customer, please contact the relevant Customer directly.

Pragathi Rail does not knowingly collect consumer household information from its Customers or sell or share Customer Representative information with third parties for purposes not described in this Privacy Statement, except as applicable to service providers and subprocessors.

By accessing or using the Site, you consent to the information collection, disclosure, and use practices described in this Privacy Statement. Certain features or services referenced in this Privacy Statement may not always be available on the Site. Please also review our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Site.

Information Collection

We collect information from Customer Representatives when they choose to provide it to us. This may occur when they submit personal information through a form on our Site, create an account, sign up for email communications, use our services, or otherwise contact us.

We may collect business information such as name, address, email address, telephone number, and mobile telephone number from current or prospective Customers. Personal information means information about an individual from which that person can be identified and does not include anonymous information where the identity has been removed.

If Customers make purchases through the Site, they may provide payment information, such as payment card or other financial account information and billing address. If third-party payment processors are used, they collect and process that information directly to facilitate payments on our behalf.

Authorized User Notice

If you access Pragathi Rail products or services on behalf of one of our Customers, you may be considered an Authorized User under the relevant Customer agreement. We collect Authorized Users' personal information on behalf of our Customers, and our Customers determine how that information is collected and used, including what information is shared with us.

On behalf of our Customers, we may collect information such as first name, last name, email address, username, device identifiers, IP addresses, internet activity information, website URLs and domains, browsing activity, general geographic location, and other information required to provide our services.

This Site is not intended to collect personal health information or other sensitive information about Customer Representatives or Authorized Users. Any such information should be handled in accordance with applicable agreements, privacy policies, and procedures.

If a Customer Representative provides the name of their company, we may use the company name on a list of current or former customers for promotional purposes.

If you use a third-party service to connect or communicate with us, such as a social network or video conferencing service, we may receive certain information from that third party based on your registration and privacy settings.

Information Collected From Other Sources

We may obtain information about prospective Customers and Customer Representatives from other sources, including websites and social networks. This information may include purchase or browsing history, anonymous identifiers, demographic information, interests, and publicly available online information that we may review for customer acquisition, support, or service delivery purposes.

Information Obtained From Third Parties

If we receive Customer Data from or on behalf of our Customers, we will use that information for the specific purposes for which it was provided, subject to applicable agreements and laws.
